View ArticleDecatur veterinarians Dr. Shelly Stevens and Dr. Robert Groesch, as well as the entire staff of our Decatur veterinary hospital, are committed to your pet's continuing health and well being. Our hospital is known for excellence in pet care, both in compassionate care and cutting edge veterinary medicine. We have provided Decatur and the neighboring communities of Macon, Forsyth, Blue Mound, Mount Zion, and Boody, veterinary care with a personal touch for many years. It is this combination of a personal and professional approach that has made Fairview Hospital for Animals the choice of many throughout Macon County.
Our Decatur veterinary hospital, owned by a husband and wife veterinarian team, is really an extended family. We are a close knit group as a number of our team members having been with the practice for over a decade. As a result of our dedicated animal hospital staff, we have developed longtime friendships with local pets and pet owners. We task ourselves with providing outstanding care and going the extra mile for our pet owners.
Fairview Hospital for Animals is a complete animal hospital, including emergency
vet care, where we take the health and happiness of our patients seriously. Our Decatur veterinarians are passionate about veterinary care and exceptionally well trained with a commitment to continuing education. We strive to provide professional and advanced services to all pets and pet owners.
Our veterinary hospital offers boarding, wellness care, surgery, dental, nutritional counseling and pet bathing (no grooming though) and emergency vet care. We purchased the practice in 1989 and, after outgrowing the original facility, we opened our current animal hospital in April 2007. We are proud of our modern and state of the art animal hospital. Our clinic was designed to have an open layout that allows pet owners to view most all procedures and exams that are taking place. We want pet owners to be confident in our services and care, as well as reassured by this open hospital plan.
Fairview Hospital for Animals also offers emergency vet care to pets in need. Our after hours on-call service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you handle emergency situations. We also
provide dental services, surgical care, in house laboratory testing and bathing services. Our in-house pharmacy, along with access to specialists, makes us the answer for your pet's health and medical needs.
